Belfast Operatic Company : Office Bearers

Back to main office bearers page

The Belfast Operatic CompanyKeith has had a lifelong association with BOC from coming to watch as a young boy but he made his Grand Opera House debut with them at age 13 in a production of Pirates of Penzance. He became a full company member in 2011 and was honoured to be part of the production of the memorable centenary production of ‘Titanic the Musical’ during the 100 year anniversary of the sinking of that great ship. He also felt honoured to become the chairman of this wonderful group in 2014.

As well as being an extremely valuable committee member, Keith was quickly recognised as a valued soloist on stage but also has shown his versatility in acting as assistant to the Musical Director, often taking sectional rehearsals and in 2019 he was pleased to step down from his role as chairman to take on the coveted role of Musical Director of Belfast Operatic Company.

Outside of theatre, Keith is very involved with the Salvation Army where he runs youth events and takes the choir. Keith's other main interest is rugby, having recently retired as a coach at Cooke Rugby Club.
